WOMEN CHANGING THE WORLD GLOBAL SUMMIT
The Women Changing the World Global Summit is taking place in London in 2024. A day of learning, storytelling, dreaming and truth-telling, This event will bring together women making a difference from around the world to share wisdom, stories, and valuable insight.
The day will feature award-winning speakers, including Dr. Tererai Trent, panel discussions & engaging workshops, as well as time for networking and connection. From advocates advancing human rights to entrepreneurs driving industry change, this event will connect you with a room filled with passionate female leaders who are all united by their vision and commitment to creating a better world and a brighter future for us all.
Ramita Anand, from Elevate.RA Ltd PTE
Ramita Anand, trained teacher (with a Science and Special Educational Needs specialisation), mother, author, and podcast host who has designed ElevateRA mentoring services, aimed to empower and work with pre-adolescents on crucial life skills. Today’s evolving modern world is leaving many young folks facing challenges that, hinder self-worth, academic and social progress. Ramita is on a mission to employ preventative educational tools to set up girls with a strong foundation. Passionate about helping young pupil’s wellbeing, ElevateRA originated to work in conjunction with the conventional approaches in education, to equip young folks with the skills of confidence, empathy, resilience, emotional intelligence, kindness, that will serve them throughout their lives. Ramita has 15 years of international teaching experience and has been the Department Head of Learning support and enrichment at leading academic schools in the UK. She is the mother of a teen girl and boy who has his own learning challenges. Her experience in education and parenting have given her a unique platform from which she has created mentoring services for young girls.
There is a massive, untapped, global resource in women. Women have the capacity to inspire, to create, to transform and to change the world. These awards have been designed to create and inspire this change.
The Women Changing The World Awards winners will be announced at the glamourous Gala Dinner in London in May 2024

These awards give back! Profits from the Women Changing The World Awards go to providing girls in rural Africa with access to support, mentoring and education thanks to a partnership between Sarah's Trust and Tererai Trent International (TTI).
We believe that investing in women and girls is the most powerful way to change the world! Investing in education creates a powerful ripple effect far beyond today and into the future.
Sarah's Trust in partnership with the Tererai Trent International Foundation helps send girls in rural Zimbabwe to attend College and or University.
In Zimbabwe, due to historical inequities that have shaped the poor, more rural girls are married before the age of 18 and 5% are married before their 15th birthday.
This support ensures that these bright, and yet under-resourced African children, who are often the first in their families to attend university, can change the trajectory of their life, their communities and future generations.
